WILDLIFE A&E

The design brief;

Design a new build Wildlife A&E for a local charity on a tight budget.  Building to be used to temporarily house injured or sick wildlife, allow staff to monitor and care for the animals and provide welfare facilities for staff.

This was achieved by using a simple shape with a span so that steel requirements were minimal or non-existent.  This helps keep costs down and reduces the carbon footprint of the build.

To maximize wall space within the recovery rooms rooflights were utilised rather than windows.
